Now I'm going to tell you something. Today's my blog's birthday! Ta da! (Just so you know.)

I'm really sorry for not posting in a while, but I definitely plan to post more frequently now. Over the next week or so, I'm going to attempt to do a few special things for her birthday. Such as a movie quote thing and an "At Agincourt" review. How does that sound?

Happy one month birthday, dear blog. I was so surprised one month ago when Mara asked me if I would like to have a blog. Then before I knew it, you came into my life. Even though it was rather surprising at the time, I have had a lot of fun with you, composing posts, improving my writing, and of course, receiving comments. I am looking forward to having lots more fun together.

I really like to read, but I've never done much writing. My sister Mara suggested that I start this blog so I can get some practice in writing for fun. I'm a thirteen-year-old homeschooled Christian girl (although you probably already guessed that last part, since no boy would choose the name Katarina Grace). I have several different types of posts planned. I want to post pictures of different crafts I'm making, and do lots of book reviews and word studies. Also whenever my family does something interesting I'll probably post about it. In a couple months I hope to start a quote-a-day series from Handel's Messiah.
